In the sacred silence of farewell, Nellie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Nellie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eliza Bertha Prince Jordan and William Oscar Jordan; and her sisters, Margaret Holden (Junior) and Elizabeth Perritt. She is survived by: her sons, Burley Hickman (Debra) of Galivants Ferry, Mark Hickman (Kathy Phillips) of Nichols, SC and Johnathan Hickman (Amanda) of Aynor, SC; her siblings, William "Pete" Jordan (Ruby) of Marion, SC and Katie Perritt (Herman) of Galivants Ferry, SC; and her brother-in-law Charles Perritt of Galivants Ferry, SC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
