She was predeceased by: her parents, Dock Benson and Racy Long Benson; her husband James "Jim" Cannon; her son Mark Cannon; and her brother Dock Benson, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Cannon (Mary Joy) of Florence, SC and Keith Cannon (Charlotte) of Matthew, NC. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
