With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nan Poston Grier of Marion, South Carolina, born in Hemingway, South Carolina, who passed away on July 26, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Marion Grier; her parents, Woodrow Poston and Hattie Douglas Poston; and her sisters, Genevieve Bennett and Peggy Cronland.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Grier (Heather) and Suzi G. Steese (Steve); her grandchildren, Stephen Steese (Brooke), Catherine Steese, Coleman Grier, Mary Ella Grier, Haylie Steese and Logan Steese; her great grandchildren, Nathan Steese and Samuel Steese; and her sister Judy (Sam).
