It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Baker Sr. of Marion, South Carolina, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Theron Baker and Florence Gertrude Williams Baker; his brother Roger Baker; and his grandson Theron Thomas Alleman. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Kirby Baker; his children, Michael H. Baker, Jr. (Amy Griffith Baker), Lexie Ann Stolen (Brent Alan Stolen), Kirby Russell Baker (Lisa Majewski Baker) and Flora Teneile O'Connor (James Patrick O'Connor); his grandchildren, Griffith Michael Baker, Camden Alexander Baker, Lex Thomas Baker, Anna Caileen Alleman, Belle Landry Alleman, William McNeil Alleman and Malora Laine Alleman; and his siblings, Dorothy Neal Baxley, John Marion Baker (Rhonda) and Patrick Gordon Baker (Barbara).
