She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Dickens and Mabel Legette Dickens; her husband Ed; her sisters, Mickey Atkinson (Johnny), Billie Lou Vereen (Roland) and Joan Smith (Raley); and her sister-in-law Carolyn Dickens.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Pittman (Pattie) of Mullins and Marsha White (Knox) of Greenville, SC.; her grandchildren, Ed Pittman (Sloan), Alex Pittman Blair (Quinton), Lee Pittman Howard (Preston), Marian White (Justin Govonlu) and Knox White, Jr.; her great grandchildren, George and Oliver Govonlu; her brother Alva Dickens; and her brothers-in-law, Billy Pittman (Margie) and Everett Pitman (Betty). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
