She was predeceased by: her husband Joe M. Medlin Jr.; her daughter Sandy Medlin; her parents, Lovie Christine Benton and Elder Lewis Napoleon Benton; and her siblings, Booth of Missouri, Delta Britt, L. N. Benton, Bonair Benton, Gilbert Benton, William Benton and Goley Benton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa M. Poston (Harold Poston), Yvonne M. Shelley (Wayne Shelley), Elaine M. Collins (Tim Collins) and Gail M. Aragon (Jerry Aragon); her grandchildren, Jason H. Poston (Ryan Poston), Justin B. Poston, Johnny W. Poston Jr. (Camille Lawrence), Jessica Anne C. Sealey (Phillip Sealey), T. Scott Collins (Katie Collins), Kimbra Leigh P. Hawkins (Nic Jennings), Jake R. Pruett (Jianna Carlock), Zachary T. Pruett (Amanda Pruett), Jarred S. Aragon (Lacy Aragon), Dylan C. Aragon (Jessica Aragon) and Heather Adame Saenz (Joaquin Adame Saenz); and her great grandchildren, Rylee Poston, Raegan Poston, Lilah Rose M. Poston, Eirwen C. Poston, Ella Sealey, Clark Sealey, Barrett Hawkins, Finleigh Jennings, Willow Pruett, Alistair Pruett, Evelyn Pruett, Kevin Aragon, Atlas Aragon, Langston Aragon, Kasen Aragon, Reese Aragon, Mackenzie Whitt and Natalie Gilstrap (family: Pat Hubbard, Tim, Pam Pruett).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Richardson Funeral Home (1936 Senator Gasque Rd, Marion, SC 29571). A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at the Palmetto Memorial Gardens.
