He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie George Martin, Sr. and Nina Mae Atkinson Martin; his wife Brenda Morris Martin; and his siblings, Sara Martin, Mildred "Micki" Rogers, Vashti Goheen, Evelyn "Emmy" Martin, Hagood B. "Slick" Martin and Joe Martin.
He is survived by: his pets, Jen and June Martin; his children, Mike Martin (Cheryl), Cindy Davis (Bill) and Timmy Martin (Kathy); his granddaughters, Michelle Miller (David) of Florence, Hope Martin of Florence, Jessica Norwood (Justin) of Florence, Emily Tedder (Matthew) of Greenwood, SC and Sarah Scott (Josh) of Nashville, TN; and his brother Oscar Martin of North Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home (715 S Main St, Mullins, SC 29574).
