She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Martin and Emily Williamson Martin; her husband Henry Bristow Thomas; her siblings, Grover Martin, Herbert Martin, Venoy Martin, Hampton R. Martin and Claudia Herring; and her son-in-law Charles L. Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Henry B. "Hank" Thomas (Angela M. Thomas) of Marion, Jonathan B. Thomas of Marion and Christa T. Collins of Marion; and her sister Ruby M. Metts of Moncks Corner, SC. She is also survived by two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
