She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Murrow Buffkin and Johnnie Buffkin; her siblings, Donald Ray Buffkin and Shirley Strickland; and her granddaughter Savannah Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Wendell Powell; her children, Thurman Lee Harris II and Elizabeth Harris; her siblings, James Eldred Buffkin and Helen Floyd; and her grandson Daniel Harris.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Richardson Funeral Home (1936 Senator Gasque Rd, Marion, SC 29571).
