She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh G. Smith and Edna Lane Smith; her siblings, Raleigh G. Smith Jr., Walker Norman Smith, James Warren Smith and Miriam Smith Alford; and her son-in-law John Keys Knox.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wallis Barnes (Mike) of Lexington, Candace Knox of Columbia and April Shelley (Danny) of Mullins; and her grandchildren, Michael Barnes (Erica) of Lexington, Marcus Barnes (Beth) of Lexington, Drew Shelley of Columbia and Caroline Shelley of Conway. She is also survived by four great grand-daughters, nieces and nephews.
