He is survived by: his wife Miona Watts Blount; his daughters, Polly Blount Kummerfeldt (Bob) of Colorado Springs, Sally Blount Peterson (Tony) of Colorado Springs, Darlene Blount Monson (Kyle) of Colorado Springs, Alyce Boyer (Ken Turner) of Florence, SC and Dolly Boyer of Marion, SC.; his sister Betty Ann Blount Moore of Tabor City, NC; his grandchildren, Gabby Phillips, Alysia, Sydney Monson, Ryan, Travis Peterson, John David Flora (D'anna), Dakota Miller (Daniel) and Madison Collins; his great grandchildren, Gavin Peterson and Savannah Flora; his caregiver Leona Eaddy; and his pet Bailey.
