He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Herbert Smith and Adelle S. Smith. He is survived by: his friend Gordon; his daughters, Rebecca Baker (Jim) of Mullins, SC and Rachel Smith (Omar) of New Jersey; his siblings, Herbert Smith (Sabrina) of Leland, NC and Louise "Weegee" Harper (Gordon) of Marion, SC; and his grandchildren, Neal Baker, Nathan Baker, Will Baker and Charlotte Baker.
