He is survived by: his wife Dorothy M. Ford; his children, Tarsha Nicole Morant (Cardell) and Jeffery Small; his grandsons, Cardell Morant III (Trey) and Nicholas Laurence Morant; and his siblings, Carolyn Brunson, Claudette Legette, Bill Ford and Wilbert Ford (Arnetha).
