He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Wells Shaw and Leona Richardson Shaw; his son Eddie; and his siblings, Charlie Shaw, Jr., James Shaw, Clarence Shaw, Howard Shaw, Margaret Shaw Williams, Sadie Shaw Poplin, Sis Ganshirt, Betty Carol Shaw and Becky Wiggins.
He is survived by: his wife Bonita Williamson Shaw; his children, Charlene Shaw Bryant of Marion and Mark Alan Shaw (Kim) of Marion; his grandchildren, Tracy Holcombe (David) of Marion, Will Gainey (Rachel) of Alcolu and Taylor Thompson of Marion; his great grandchildren, Eli Meetze, John William and Graycen Gainey; his sisters, Eleanor Martin of Sumter and Barbara Brown of Moncks Corner; and his close friends, Larry and Mary Lucy Hughes.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church, 3903 W. Hwy. 76, Marion, SC 29571.
