She was predeceased by: her mother Ruby Capps Murrow Hazelton; her children, Shirley Strickland and Donnie Buffkin; her great grandchild Savannah Grace Harris; and her brothers, Dennis Hazelton, Haywood Murrow and Buck Hazelton.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Floyd (Ray) of Nichols, James Buddy Buffkin of Tabor City and Judy Powell (Wendell) of Marion; and her siblings, Doris Callier of Americus, GA, Janice Long of Kingsland, GA and David Hazelton of Mullins. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
