Dorothy Hunter Thames Ellis Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2020, Dorothy Hunter Thames Ellis (Marion, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jones Thomas and Carolyn Stroman Hunter; and her husband Jack Thames. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Thames Lotz (George) of Columbus, GA, Ashley Thames Gray (Eric) of Murrells Inlet, SC and J. Campbell Thames (Katie) of Myrtle Beach, SC.; and her grandchildren, Martin Lotz, Mallory Lotz, Ashton Gray, Lindsay Gray, Pierson Thames and Grady Thames.

In an effort to help against the current Covid-19 pandemic, the service will be live streamed on the Richardson Funeral Home (Marion, SC) facebook page for those unable to attend. For all those present, social distancing and use of masks is encouraged.
