He is survived by: his wife Alice Faye Sawyer of Hopkins, SC; his children, Donald Sawyer (Kimberly) of Hopkins, SC, Maggie Denise Godwin (Chris) of Columbia, SC and Katherine Sawyer of West Columbia, SC; his siblings, Mildred Johnson, Betty Ruth Taylor, Ernestine Cooper, Bertha Mae Daniels, David Sawyer (Judy) and Ricky Sawyer (Deanna); his grandchildren, Haley Sawyer, Candice Campbell, Kayla Speer, Alyssa Grace Sawyer, Madison Sawyer, Hunter, Austin Sawyer, Owen Garrett, Landin Sawyer, Wade Frye and Andrew Frye; and his great grandchild Ryan Kelly Quarles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
