He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Shaw and Hazel Ford; his siblings, Elder Bobby Shaw (Essie) of Sumter, SC, Johnny Shaw of Marion, Ellie Ford (Hattie) of Winston Salem, NC, Ira Ford (Anita) of Florence, SC, Rosa Mullins (Timothy) and Jackie Shaw; and his siblings-in-law, Johnny Crawford (Angela) of Laurens, Lanue Crawford (Frances) of Marion, Lula Mae Rowell of Ocean City, Lillian Riley of Brooklyn and Audrey Crawford of Carrollton, VA.
He is survived by: his wife Minnie Shaw; his children, Terrell McKelvey (Tonya), David Shaw Jr. (Lili) and Tiffany Whack (Ervin) of Bishopville; and his uncle Sam Johnson of New York. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
