It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Cottingham (Marion, South Carolina), born in Dillon, South Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Franklin Cottingham and Aileen Stone Cottingham; his wife Sara Frances Coleman Cottingham; his grandson Coleman Yarborough; and his brother Royce A. Cottingham.

He is survived by: his daughters, Charlene C. Yarborough (Dewey) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Kathy R. Cottingham of Marion, SC; his grandchildren, Seth Yarborough (Powell), Luke Yarborough, Creighton McCallum (April) and Sarah McCallum (Pelaur); and his great grandchild Cole McCallum.
