She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert H. Baxley and Anna E. Coleman Baxley; and her husband Mitchell Howard Thomas, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Mitchell Thomas (Karen) of Marion, SC, Howard Glenn Thomas (Sheila) of Boiling Springs, SC and Robert Brian Thomas; her sister-in-law Dorothy Baxley of Marion; and her grandchildren, Kevin, Korey, Mathew, Kaley, Ashlyn and Britt.
