We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2020, at the age of 74, Carlyle Tyler (Marion, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Trody James and Thelma Jane Jones Tyler; his children, Carlyle Tyler, Dale Tyler, James Tyler, Bobbie Jo Collins, Pam Askins and Cheryl Ann Michael; his granddaughter Heather Askins; and his siblings, Frank Tyler, Charles Tyler, Grady Tyler, Willie Tyler and Bertha Gause.

He is survived by: his wife Letitia "Rae" McChesney Tyler; his children, Chris Tyler (Candice) of Marion, Carl Tyler of Timmonsville, Abigail Jackson of Mullins and Christina Richardson (Larry) of Marion; his sons-in-law, Tommy Askins of Marion and Jerry Collins of Loris; his grandchildren, Courtney Tyler, Allison Tyler, Brice Tyler, Landyn Tyler, Reagan Turner (Evan), Josh Richardson (Carla), Alicia Richardson, Jeffery Richardson, Cheryl Askins, Morgen Collins, Meagan Collins and Jay Collins; his siblings, David Tyler (Cecil) of Marion, Joe Tyler (Irene) of Marion, Clyde Tyler (Lula Mae) of Latta, Ellen Brown (Willie) of Mullins, Lucille Richardson (Bill) of Marion, Dora Ruth Jackson (David) of Nichols and Lula Jane Herring of Mullins; and his parents-in-law, Debbie Perez (Hector) of Jamestown, NY and Carl McChesney (Tiana) of Corry, PA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
