He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Campbell Lane and Clara Belle Rogers Lane; and his siblings, Olyn Lane, Kenneth Lane, Theo Lane, Emma Lee Nolan, Lorine Lane Lane and Jean Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Clara; his children, Russell Lane (Timothy) of Myrtle Beach and Kimberly of Marion; and his sister Carolyn Whaley of Marion.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Old Ebenezer Historic Cemetery.
On Sunday, December 22nd, Mr. Lane found his peace after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
