He is survived by: his wife Rochelle Elaine McCoy Howard; his children, Thomas Melville Howard, IV (Cynthia), Janice Gibson (Kenneth), Linda Hickman and Rochelle Goodwin (Brent); and his grandchildren, Allison Fowler (Brandon), Michael Gibson, Emily Safronov (Ivan), Caitlyn Howard, Brycen Hickman, Hayden Hickman, Reagan Goodwin, Tristan Howard, Forest Goodwin and Jordan Howard.
