He was predeceased by: his parents, Arch Bain and Annie Mae Lark Crain; his former wife Betty Mae Looper Crain; his wife Annie Marie Capps Crain; and his sons, Ernest E. Crain and Randall T. Crain.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Crain (Mary), Keith Crain (Gwen), Patti Dunn (Tim) and Mark Crain (Stephanie); and his daughter-in-law Sandra Crain. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
