He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Ruth Smith Helderman; his parents, Earl Helderman and Avanelle Sprouse Helderman; his grandchildren, Shaun Albright and Jennifer Helderman; and his siblings, Ann Helderman McElrath and William E. "Bill" Helderman.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Albright (Ronnie) and Allen Helderman, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Lauren Albright, Matthew Helderman (Lexi) and Cayce Helderman.
