We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2021, at the age of 99, Alexander Mitchell Stone formerly of Marietta, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Earle and Harriet Couturier Mitchell Stone; his wives, Kathryn Kerhulas of Tryon, N. C., Sherri Dixon of Aiken, S. C. and Barbara Rabb of Greenville, S. C.; and his brother Eugene Earle Stone, Jr. of Greenville, S. C.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Williams (Dick) of Marietta and Alex Stone, Jr. (Janet) of Marietta; his grandchildren, Kathryn Hefner, Leslie Hefner and Monroe Stone; his stepchildren, Celeste Haneman and Stuart Rabb; and his sisters, Hallie Stone Maxon of Belleair, Ann Stone Cleveland of Cedar Mountain, N. C. and Kerhulas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
