With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Wright Cory (Manning, South Carolina), born in Lincoln, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Edwin Cory and Dorothy Lois Wright Cory; and his brother Max Edwin Cory, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Sattler Cory; his children, Brenig Reed Cory of Oceanside, CA, Megan Elizabeth Cory-Abril (Danny Ray Abril, Jr.) of Chandler, AZ and William Alexander Cory of San Antonio, TX; his grandchildren, Luke Aris Swart, Logan William Cory, Liam Nicolaas Cory, Miles Wright Abril and Keane Cory Abril; his sister Julia Christine Swanson; and his stepchildren, Roger Sattler, Elizabeth Atkinson (Malcolm), Leslie Robey (Wayne) and Jay Sattler (Rachel).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Marlo Thomas Charity Organization.
