He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Keller DuRant and Eva Wells DuRant; and his brother Joseph Keller DuRant, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Annie M. DuRant; his sister Laura Phillips (Sam) of Carthage, NC; and his children, Beth Martins (Dan) of Sumter, Bert DuRant of Long Beach, CA and Joe DuRant (Kathleen) of Sumter. He is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
