It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Denson London (Manning, South Carolina), who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Denson Neil London and Margaret Lawrence London; his daughter Elizabeth Marie London Ferring; and his sister Barbara Jean Brunson. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Yvonne Hodge London; his children, David Michael London of Chapin, Teresa London of Columbia and James London (Cherry) of Spartanburg; and his grandchildren, Joshua Ferring (Brittany) of Schwenksville, PA, Christopher Ferring (Jennifer) of Columbus, GA and Christina Hostetter (Jake) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory (304 N Church St, Manning, SC 29102). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Providence Baptist Church (2445 Old Manning Rd, Sumter, SC 29150).
