He is survived by: his parents, Julius Marion "J. M." Ard and Anita Palow Ard; his sons, Emmett McCauley (Brooke) of Sumter and Randy Ard (Jessica Ward) of Sumter; his grandchildren, Seth, Brantley, Callie, Caroline, Carter and Carleigh; his brother Steven Ard (Darlene); and the mother of his children Celina Marie Ard of Manning.
