He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawrence Brewer, Sr. and Susan Margaret Walker Brewer; his son Ben Brewer; his grandchildren, Jennifer Brewer and Baby Boy Brewer; his children-in-law, Jane Brewer, Joy Brewer and Mitch Driggers; and his siblings, W. L. Brewer, Jr., Maggie Lee Brewer Davis and Elizabeth Brewer.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Brewer (Joe) of Manning, Tom Brewer (Linda) of Manning, Elaine Brewer Driggers of Turbeville, Mildred Brewer Peet (Dean) of Manning, Paul Brewer (Marie) of Manning and Paulette Brewer Peterson (Ronnie) of Manning; his daughter-in-law Judy Brewer of Manning; and his caregivers, Marc Brewer, Lawrence "Larry" Brewer, Cheryl Miles and Brenda Shelton. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
