We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2025, at the age of 90, Teddy Jozef Obertacz (Manning, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Teddy Jozef is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Teddy Jozef's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Obertacz and Helen Walczak Obertacz. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Lynn Gillispie (Harold) of Hartsville and Julia Ann DeBruin (R. Scott) of Enosburg Falls, VT; and his grandchildren, Justin Gillispie (Angela) of Port Charlotte, FL, Caitlin Gillispie of Port Charlotte, FL, Emily Clark (Adam) of Grand Isle, VT and McKenzie DeBruin of Burlington, VT. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
