He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Berry Grubb; his parents, James Edward Grubb, Sr. and Barbara Carroll Tompson Grubb; his grandchild Parker; and his sisters, Peggy Nesbitt and Bonnie McLeod.
He is survived by: his children, Joshua A. Grubb of Sumter, SC, Matthew L. Grubb (Ashley) of Sumter, SC and Jessica P. Grubb of Aiken, SC; his siblings, James E. Grubb, Jr. of Manning, SC, Michael Grubb of Aiken, SC and Katherine Barfield of Manning, SC; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Gabrielle, Natalie, Riley, Mattison, Grant, Mason and Annaleigh.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bullock Funeral Home (1190 Wilson Hall Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel (1190 Wilson Hall Rd, Sumter, SC 29150).
