It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Burgess Mills (Manning, South Carolina), born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Dow Mills, Jr. and Marguerite Cain Mills; and his brother Roland Dow Mills III. He is survived by: his children, Emmie Mills Jacobus (Brandon) of New Zion and Robert B. Mills, Jr. (Erika) of Florence; his grandchildren, Blake Burgess Michau, Ansley Mills Michau, Robert B. "Trey" Mills III and Lauren Kathlean Mills; and his brothers, William Cain Mills of Mt. Pleasant and David Nelson Mills (Susan) of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by two nephews; and a niece.
