He was predeceased by: his parents, Randal Ervin and Fannie Belcher Clayton; his wife Joyce Stanford Clayton; and his sisters, Margie, Sarah and Rose.
He is survived by: his children, Philip Clayton (Mary-Barbara) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Myra Leone (Joe) of San Jose and Patricia Blackwell (Randy) of Taylors; his grandchildren, Nickolas Clayton, Zebadiah Blackwell (Megan), Jordan Blackwell, Savannah Leone, Jacob Clayton, Shelby Leone and Nathaniel Clayton; and his great grandchild Kingston Blackwell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holly Springs Baptist Church, 251 Hannon Rd., Inman, South Carolina 29349.
