He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Teresa McNeil and Emile Flavian Surette; and his son-in-law Eugene Aubrey McFaddin III. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Powell Surette of Turbeville, SC.; his children, Frances S. McFaddin (Randy) of Sardinia, SC, Kathryn S. Spicer (Bill) of Hamilton, Ontario, Peter V. Surette, Jr. (Janene) of Manning, SC and Becky L. Spivey (Rick) of Cades, SC; his grandchildren, Megan S. Anderson (Warren), Grace Emily Surette, Jesse Alexander Surette, Sara Jane Spivey and D. Andrew Spivey (Sarah); his great grandchild Derry Frances Anderson; and also, Georganna, Sara, Betty Anne, Terry, Sue, Sheila, Brenda, Bridget and Beebe.
