He is survived by: his wife Lourine Waiters; his children, Moses L. Waiters, Jr. and Devonte Roy; his stepsons, James L. Ravenel, Jerome L. Ravenel (Angie) and Jason L. Ravenel; his grandchildren, Lyria Waiters, Kayden Waiters and Alynnea White; his brother Jerome Waiters; his uncle Sidney Waiters (Pat); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Bacote Brown, Ann Brown Jefferson, Caseline Jenkins, Thelma Brown (Henry), Rodney Bacote (Lynda), Raymond Brown (Maxine) and Walter Hills, Jr..

“I had the pleasure of working for Mr Waiters for over 5 years. He was a patient of mine at the VA and I would oftentimes see his name on my list of patients to see on the hospital wards. I thoroughly enjoyed our discussions about the world and his love for the Lord. I have been sad since his death and he has been in my thoughts every day since his passing. I am comforted in knowing that he is free of disease and in the presence of God. May he rest peacefully. He will not be forgotten.”
