We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2025, at the age of 92, Mary Alice Tidwell Purvis (Manning, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Willie Tidwell and Katie Branham Tidwell; her sons, Jerry Purvis, Elvin Purvis, Roy Purvis and Glen Purvis; and her grandson Roy Purvis, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Edward Purvis; her son Dean Purvis (Robbin) of Manning; and her grandchildren, Janie Dennis, Suzanne LeFebre (Andy), Cristy Purvis, Heather Purvis, Katie Eaden (Jeremy) and Amanda McGrew (Phillip). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory (304 N Church St, Manning, SC 29102). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
