She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry and Willie Mae McMichael Pierce; her former husband Nicholas Herman Spitzer; her husband James McCullum "Mac" Morris; her stepdaughters, Sandra, Evelyn, Karen and Marian; and her daughters, Deborah Spitzer Martin (Mike) of Saint Helena Island and Jan Spitzer Bodnar (Chris) of Charlotte.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Lindsay Erin Martin of Cheyenne, Sarah Elizabeth Martin of Columbia and Andrew Kyle Bodnar of Houston, Texas..
