He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence David Ross, Jr. and Janie Hatfield Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Saundra G. "Sandy" Ross; his children, Angela Ross of Manning, James Ross of Summerville, Kenneth W. Grantham III (Amanda) of Conway and Dr. Patricia E. Grantham (John Butler) of Manahawkin, NJ; his grandchildren, Joshua Lynch (Amber), Alyssa Ross, Caitlyn Ross, Capri Butler, Dolce Butler and Addison Grantham; his great grandchild Tillman Ross Lynch; and his sisters, Jeannie Mellor and Dorothy Joan Duke. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Turbeville First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 177, Turbeville, SC 29162, or to the American Cancer Society, 200 Center Point Circle, Suite 100, Columbia, SC 29210.
