It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julian Edward Keels Sr. (Manning, South Carolina), born in Alcolu, South Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Alec Keels and Pearl Lawrence Keels; his former wife Margaret Bessman Keels; and his sister Carolyn LeGette. He is survived by: his children, Julian Edward "Eddie" Keels, Jr. (Wendy) of Hartsville, Michael Shonn Keels (Bonnie) of Enid, OK and Alyson Chappell of Darlington; his grandchildren, Kristen, Leah, Taylor, Trevor, Baylee and Brelin; his great grandchild Indie; his brother-in-law Lex LeGette of Hemingway; and his stepchildren, Drew Hobbs (Patricia) of Timmonsville, Rodney Hobbs (Kim) of Summerton and Alane Price (Tony) of Florence. He is also survived by six step grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren.
