He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Springs and Frances Leila Ganes Springs; his son Gary Alan Springs; and his siblings, Aaron Springs, Therman Springs, Maggie Hinson, Mildren Powell, Jessie "Vera Mae" Carter, Carolyn Poston and Annette Mahaffey.
He is survived by: his children, Joey Springs (Karen) of Lancaster, SC. and Teresa Dale Mitchum (Glenn) of Manning, SC.; his grandchildren, Cathy, Matt, Ashley and Hane; and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Georgia, Riley, Sadie and Olivia.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lancaster Memorial Park (1389 Memorial Park Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720).
