It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Roy McPhee Jr. (Manning, South Carolina), born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roy McPhee, Sr. and Ernestine Fay McMurtrie McPhee. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Oldham Blakeslee McPhee; his children, Catherine M. Gilson (Douglas) of Florence, John M. McPhee (Carol) of Windsor and James R. McPhee of Florence; and his sister Fay Morrison (Richard) of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by four grandchildren; a great granddaughter; two bonus children; several bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren.
