It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jill Susan Smith Torrey (Manning, South Carolina), born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Smith and Fern Havill Smith. She is survived by: her husband John Randall Torrey; her sons, Brian Warner of Wolcott, NY and Robert "Bob" Warner (Sandy) of Muscatine, Iowa; her stepdaughter Robin Lee VanBortle of Buffalo, NY; her grandson Brian Robert "Robbie" Warner; her great grandchild Caspian Warner; her siblings, Wendy Pachla (Mark) of Rochester, MI and Steve Smith (Kathy); and her sister-in-law Carol LaValley of North Rose, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
