He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Elmore Thompson and Kathryn Outen Thompson; and his brother Danny Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Carol Pevey Thompson; his daughter Brenda Gail Jones (Doug) of Manning; his granddaughter Tabitha Butler (Terry) of Summerville; his great grandchildren, Andrew Waddell of Summerville and Sabrina Odell (Zack) of Georgetown; his great great grandchildren, Shiloh, Charleigh and Haisley; and his siblings, Ken Thompson (Angie) of Georgia and Donna Kay Frisby (Keith) of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Manning First Baptist Church (49 W Boyce St, Manning, SC 29102). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
