He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harry Brunson and Mary Anna Thames Brunson; his siblings, William Jerry Brunson and June B. Willson; his nephew Richard "Ricky" Francis Drose, Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth A. Harrington, James Vaughan and Jerome "Jerry" McLeod.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Harrington Brunson; his daughters, Traci N. Brunson of Columbia and Kelli A. Brunson of Bluffton; his sisters, Virginia B. Vaughan, Alice B. Coleman (Byrns), Billie B. McLeod, Lois B. Weeks (Charles), Rose B. Drose (Frank), Ruby B. Livingston (Bill), Gloria B. Holladay (Ken) and Gayle Brunson; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Willson (Pam), Michael Harrington (Deborah), Terri Harrington and Laura H. Floyd (Bobby). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
