It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grant Johnson (Manning, South Carolina), who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Cleveland Johnson and Alice Waiters Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Johnson of Detroit, MI, Rodney Johnson of Stamford, CT and Vanessa Hood of Greeleyville; his sisters, Onetta Williams of Beaufort and Lillie Mae Melvin of Manning; his aunts, Cleo Waiters Hodge of Manning and Mary Ida Waiters of Manning; his sisters-in-law, Annie Johnson of Manning and Celestine W. Jackson of Baltimore, MD; his niece Wanda Johnson of Manning; and his grandson Trevor Myers of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
