In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Gary Anthony leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Gary Anthony may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Harrison Gainey and Margaret Jacqueline Adams Gainey. He is survived by: his close friend Mary Jo Massey; his children, Mary Delair (Donald Sherman) of Manning, Katherine Jennings (Christopher) of Summerville, David Massey of Manning and Gary Anthony Massey (Shaynna) of Manning; and his siblings, Mike Gainey (Susan) of Darlington, Linda Gainey Norwood of Darlington and Sharon Haynie of Darlington. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Home of Gary Anthony Gainey (1623 Clearview Dr, Manning, SC 29102).
