He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Cathy" Tapley Kennedy; his sons, Thad Kennedy (AshLee) of Manning and Andy Kennedy of Manning; his sister Susan Carter (Jay) of Florence; his niece Caroline Carter of Florence; his aunt Lila Jean Richburg of Manning; and his mother-in-law Fay Tapley of Sumter.
