She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Henry Carter, Sr.; her parents, Ernest McRoy and Mary Jane Butler McRoy; and her siblings, John Edward McRoy, Sr., James Ernest McRoy, Robert Allen McRoy, Carl Wesley McRoy and Judy McRoy Blanton.
She is survived by: her son Joseph Henry Carter, Jr. (Rhonda) of Manning; her grandchildren, Joseph Henry "Tripp" Carter III of Manning and Jordan Carter Floyd (Emory) of Olanta; and her sister Loretta McRoy Disher of Manning. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory (304 N Church St, Manning, SC 29102). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
